Calm by Astrid didn't start with a business plan. It started with watching someone I love carry restless, anxious energy in their hands all day — the kind that ends up in bitten nails and picked-at skin, with nowhere else to go. I kept thinking there had to be a better way to hold that energy. Something to turn to. Something discreet enough to wear every day, and beautiful enough that no one would ever guess what it was really for. We couldn't find it anywhere. So we made it.
